TCDA student Donovan at the Royal Ballet School Summer Intensive. 

Congrats to all students that have attended this year’s TCDA International Ballet Festival / Summer Intensive - a wonderful group of hard-working, dedicated, young people who shined in the Gala performance this Friday. Thank you to the great faculty that joined us this year to share and inspire. Congratulations to the 4 East Coast Scholarship recipients, and best wishes to the students joining the Royal Ballet School London, England, and the National Paris Opera Ballet School, France. 

Thank you to the wonderful alumni who came out to share, support, and perform, from the Vienna State Opera Ballet, Austria / Szalt Dance Company Los Angeles, CA / International Freelance Artists, and from the State Street Ballet Santa Barbara, CA. Also, thank you to those that helped make this three-weeks Festival possible, to the local families, and to those who traveled from across the United States and Europe to attend the Festival.

TCDA is proud to welcome Guest Artist Ms. Tessa Magda from the Vienna State Opera Ballet Company, Austria, who will be performing at this year's Summer Intensive - International Ballet Festival 5th Anniversary Gala 2018.

Ms. Magda has been Mr. Theodore Constant's student from the age of nine and until seventeen, when she joined the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy for one year, during Mr. C's tenure there. Upon graduation, she was invited to join the Company, led by Artistic Director Manuel Legris.
